TCP Rear Spring Plate Offers Improved Design Over Stock ComponentsElk Grove, CA - December 12, 2002 -- Total Control Products has added a direct replacement rear spring plate for early Ford Mustang/Cougar leaf spring suspensions. Design improvements include a relocated shock mount to provide necessary brake line clearance for the popular Versailles rear end conversion. The oversized tow-hook loop will be a welcomed addition for owners of trailered vehicles. Each plate is powder coated in TCP blue to protect against the elements and a lifetime of dependable use. The spring plate portion is manufactured from 3/16" steel and TIG welded at each seam. 1/4" steel is used for the shock mount and is also TIG welded to achieve maximum weld penetration, strength and good looks. Installation instructions are included with each kit. The original hardware is used for installation. Kits are priced at $129.00 and are available through Total Control Products and their distributors.
